The Caller Based Routing Service form is used to assign Allow-List and Deny-List service types to callers for using the Caller Based Routing feature. This form is used to configure the Caller Based Routing feature.
The Caller ID field cannot be empty.
The caller ID that you want to configure must be unique. If a Caller ID is already programmed as a Allow-List or Deny-List, the system will not allow you to enter the caller ID as a new entry.
In MiXML applications, you must specify either the Allow-List or Deny-List service type. Otherwise, you cannot save the entry.
The destination field cannot be empty for Allow-List service type.
For Deny-List service type, if you enter the Primary Node Identifier (PNI) number, the destination cannot be empty.
The PNI is subject to cascade changes. For example, if the PNI is changed in the Cluster Elements form, the matching Allow-List and Deny-List entries in the Call Recognition Service form also change.
If the destination you want to configure is an external destination, it is recommended that you use System Speed Call as the Caller Based Routing Service destination, because it provides Override Toll Control functionality. When System Speed Call is configured, the incoming call is retranslated to an Automatic Route Selection (ARS) route.
